Naqadeh is a county in the West Azerbaijan province, which is located at the heart of a fertile plain and overlooks Lake Urmia from the north. This city is one of the best tourist destinations in the province due to its favorable climate. Naqadeh is located in the southern part of West Azerbaijan Province. Apples and grapes are the main products of Naqadeh city, and the greenery of these orchards in this area has created beautiful landscapes. Naqadeh was formerly known as Solduz, meaning a land covered by water. This city is also known as the salt region, because it is located on the right side of the Salt Lake of Urmia.
